Terms of Delivery

All orders are specifically for personal use. For wholesale purchase above S$400, local GST is applicable. For more information for bigger quantity, kindly contact at help@balticfresh.com.

Why is there an additional charge for perishable shipments?

Not at the present time.

Because we price our products competitively, we must add an extra fee for shipping perishable items. These packages are shipped in a Styrofoam container with ice packs, and the extra fee is to help with those additional costs to maintain freshness with quality.

Shipping times vary depending on the shipping method you select and distance your order is shipped. Currently we have one pick up per week day in the early afternoon, and including some time for processing, you can expect your order to leave within 24 hours of placing your order, excluding weekends. There are exceptions for weather and sometimes perishable products, depending on how long we expect the shipment to take.

Most products we sell can be shipped via Ground without a problem. However, some items must be sent via Express due to their perishable nature including chilled products. We give the customer the choice of shipping methods. Our general policy is that we guarantee perishable products when shipped via Express, and the customer takes the risk when sent by Ground. We will not be held responsible for spoilage of perishable products sent by Ground.

We prefer to ship perishable products Monday - Wednesday in an effort to avoid weekend losses and reserve the right to delay a perishable shipment to safely schedule it. We may also delay a shipment due to inclement weather.

When shipping perishable foods, depending on the items purchased, we may add ice packs and use an insulated shipping container at an additional cost. Ice packs cost 8 Euro and insulated shipping containers cost 7 euro. These additional costs will be added to your bill and show on your credit card. Your order CANNOT be shipped without this payment.

Balticfresh.com is NOT responsible for weather related damage. Common carriers do not provide climate control over shipments. The purchaser assumes all risk brought on by the weather during shipment. Damage related to the weather and climate during shipment is not the responsibility of Balticfresh.com nor the common carrier.

You must be 18 to purchase any product that contains alcohol, including beer, wine, and some chocolates. Delivery must accepted by an adult age 18+. All beer or wine shipments are sent via our contract carriers with an adult signature sticker required on the box. Packages will not be left without signature at any residence or business. You will receive a notice from the Singapore Custom prior the arrival of your shipment to pay your Duties for Alcohol.
